Q&A With the Mistress

A look back at Book 1 and the tools we use

Since the audio for Book 1 is fully released* now that Chapter 20 came out on Monday, we can take a moment to breath; ……..ooooooOOOOOOOooooooo…… ;

we’ve come so far since that first glimmer of an idea to hold onto the digital records of our DnD sessions and release that as a serialized story.

The campaign for this material started at the end of May, 2024. Our first chapter was released on June 30th; the note in the publication record is “Our first post was late, released after midnight. Things are going well.” On August 6th, our first audio chapter was released, which was a stretch for both the Mistress and myself. In real-life situations where the conversation turns to podcasts, we now have one. I have held myself back in those moments and I have gleefully shared with a full heart about a story on the internet that is out there to read.

All of it is free, except for these words, that is. We are still very new to having paid posts and for now, the idea of having regular readers far exceeds the kind of monetary support from a few dedicated fans. Before I go much further, I will reel this back in. I am the Dungeon Master and am merely the warm-up act for the one, the only, the Dungeon Mistress. Without further ado, let’s bring her out and ask a few questions, shall we?
